Classes

Lessons resume Monday of 1st Week Hilary Term (Mon 16th January 2012), and run for 8 weeks.

MONDAY classes at WESLEY MEMORIAL HALL,
New Inn Hall St. OX12DH, with Kris and Polly.

TIME LEVEL DESCRIPTION
6pm-6:55pm Beginners

Suitable for absolute beginners, and anyone wanting to practice the basics.

7pm-7:55pm Fast Track Beginners

A faster-paced class suitable for those who already had some experience with salsa.

8pm-8:55pm Improvers

Focus on continuation from beginners with more variation of turn patterns (double and single hand holds), copas, inside and outside cross-body turns, styling footwork. (This level is for those familiar and comfortable with Level 1).

9pm-9:55pm Intermediate/Technique

Over the 8-week term intermediate and advanced dancers have the opportunity to improve their posture awareness, spinning technique, styling, and body movement.

Every lesson is 50 minutes, followed by 10 minutes social dancing to have a quick practice of what you just learnt (but to really improve... come to Anuba!! Social dancing is the best way to learn!!)

Price:

1 class: £3.50 / £3 OUSS members
Each subsequent class (in the same evening): £1.50 / £1 OUSS member

Membership:

Can be purchased at any time of year at our classes. See Society page for details:
£7.50 for a year
£15 for life

Our classes are available to everybody (university students and non-students welcome!). Society membership is not required to attend classes (but beneficial!). For information on the benefits of membership, and how to become a member, see our society page.
