Lessons resume Monday, Week 1 (27th April), Trinity Term,and run for 8 weeks.
NO CLASS IN 2ND WEEK (4TH MAY)

Venue: Flora Anderson Hall, Somerville College
Follow the directions in the college grounds, or if in doubt, the Porters are friendly:-)

Timetable:

6.00pm Bachata - suitable for all levels (class will be suited to that weeks' attendees) - will include some new moves for more experienced dancers and also be suitable as a fast-paced beginner's class (perfect way to warm up before beginners salsa and learn a popular social dance!)

7.00pm Absolute Beginners / Beginners Salsa - no experience necessary! This class is divided into 2 groups - absolute beginners (to learn the basic footwork) and beginners (to learn the moves necessary to move up to Improvers).

8.00pm Improvers Salsa - must have attended at least 3 beginners classes AND be comfortable with cross-body lead, right turn, left turn, hook turn.

9.00pm Intermediate / Advanced Salsa- for anyone who is comfortable with everything danced in Improvers.

Every lesson is 50 minutes, followed by 10 minutes social dancing to have a quick practice of what you just learnt (but to really improve... come to Anuba and Risa!! Social dancing is the best way to learn!!)

Price:

One class: £3.50 (non-members) or £3 (members)
All night (as many classes as you like): £5 (non-members) or £4 (members)

Our classes are available to everybody (university students and non-students welcome!). Society membership is not required to attend classes (but beneficial!). For information on the benefits of membership, and how to become a member, see our society page.
