The
Salsa Society runs regular salsa lessons at all levels on Mondays - check out
our Classes page! Classes take place at Somerville College,
taught by the fabulous OUST captains and are an excellent
way to learn to dance, meet new people, and relax between all those
deadlines!
If
you thought that classes were all we did, check out the Oxford University Salsa Team and prepare to be amazed!
Our Salsa Team perform at balls, charity shows, nightclubs, dance festivals and all kinds of
events throughout Oxford!
Watch out for special events and parties, including our fantastic annual Salsa Ball, organised by the society. We also host weekly social dancing nights at Anuba and CafeCoco - all levels very welcome - hope to see you there!

26/05/10 - Workshops with IGNITE Dance Co. and Inaki Fernandez
On Sunday 30th May OUSS is running two workshops with some great guest teachers. Take a break and join us for Styling with Rosa and Giles at 2pm, followed by Bachata with Inaki Fernandez at 3:30pm. All levels welcome - see workshops page for more details!
25/04/10 - Lesson timetable changes and Salsa Technique Course
Classes are back for Trinity Term, starting Monday of 1st week (26/04/10) NEW TIMETABLE FOR TRINITY TERM!!! Intermediate will now be at 7pm, followed by Improvers at 8pm, and Beginners at 9pm.
Introducing Salsa Technique Classes for Trinity Term! Every Monday, 6pm - come and join us for spinning technique, posture, leading/following, styling and much more! All the techniques necessary to become an advanced dancer - recommended for Improvers and Intermediates.
18/11/09 - Sunday social dancing returns!!
We're back! Sunday Salsa is returning on Sunday 22nd November (Sun 7th week) at our beautiful new venue - Cafe Coco Royal Hotel!!
Lessons at 8pm followed by social dancing:-)
And as a special treat to celebrate, the relaunch party on Sunday 22nd Nov will be completely free!! See you there!!
06/10/09 - Welcome to OU Salsa!!!
The Summer may be over but Oxford Uni Salsa is back and better than ever! Classes are back at Somerville College every Monday - see classes page for full timetable details. Anuba is running as usual... come and join us for a great night of social dancing at this fantastic venue every Wednesday 9pm-late. And Salsa @ Bar Risa is back! Starting Sunday 11th October - come and join us for our first party of the year, featuring beginners lessons, a show from the OUST, and lots of lovely social dancing:-)

N.B. No class in 2nd week (4th May), but we have a special workshop on Sunday 10th May with guest teacher Thomas Finch.
Anuba and Bar Risa will be running as usual, so you can reward yourself for all that hard work and have a well-deserved dance or two!
